Common Questions Before Starting a Custom Table
Got questions about our custom epoxy tables? We’ve compiled answers to the most common inquiries to help you understand our process and offerings.
Why are custom epoxy tables so expensive?
Cost comes from slab quality, epoxy materials, and the time required to properly flatten, stabilize, and finish the piece so it lasts.
How long does a custom table take to build?
Most projects take several weeks depending on design complexity, slab availability, and finishing time.
What affects the price the most?
The biggest factors are slab selection, table size, epoxy work, and base design.
Will the wood crack or move over time?
All natural wood moves slightly, but proper drying, joinery, and finishing prevent structural issues.
Do you deliver and install?
Yes, we offer delivery and placement depending on project size and location.
What finish do you use on your tables?
We use premium hard wax oil finishes and epoxy flood coats depending on the project. These finishes provide durability, water resistance, and a natural look while enhancing the wood grain. We also offer ceramic coatings for enhanced durability, helping protect against water rings and light surface scratches from everyday wear.
Are your tables durable for everyday use?
Yes—our tables are built for real-life use. With proper care, they are resistant to moisture, heat, and daily wear. We also offer upgraded ceramic coatings for added protection on high-use surfaces.
Do you offer delivery and installation?
Yes, we offer white-glove delivery throughout North Carolina and surrounding states. We ensure safe transport and placement, but once delivered, responsibility transfers to the client.
Will my table look exactly like the photos?
No two tables are identical. Because we use natural wood and handcrafted processes, variations in grain, color, and epoxy movement are expected and part of the design.
Can you add power outlets or cable management?
Yes—especially for desks and conference tables. We can pre-route channels and cutouts for power boxes if you provide specifications ahead of time
